We would like to invite applications for positions of Research Assistant for project on Multi Geophysical Approach to Assess Karstic Geohazards in Urban Area.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS:FULL-TIME
REQUIREMENT:
1. Open for Malaysian citizens only.
2. Obtained BSc (Minimum CGPA of 3.0) in Geophysics, Applied Geology, Geology or any related field.
3. Knowledge in geophysical methods (theory, data acquisition and data processing) would be an advantage. Involve data collection in fieldwork. Please expect geophysical data acquisition on sites.
4. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to meet stringent deadlines.
5. Report closely to the principle investigator (PI), and efficiently execute tasks given.
6. Must be diligent motivated, self-disciplined and a keen learner with good interpersonal skills.
7. Good scientific writing skills and communication in English.
8. Own laptop/computer.
9. Selected candidate MUST register for MSc at Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya.
10. A GRA allowance (RM2,000 per month) will be provided to successful candidates for 2 years.
11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview session.
