Thank you for participating in this Curriculum Review (CR) Survey (CLICK HERE) for the Applied Geology Program at the Department of Geology, Universiti Malaya. This survey consist a total of 34 questions. This survey is part of our needs assessment process, an essential step in ensuring that our curriculum remains up-to-date, industry-relevant, and aligned with national regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., COPPA, COPTA, COPTPA).
By collecting feedback from a comprehensive range of stakeholders—including alumni, employers, industry partners, and current or prospective students—we can better:
Identify Market and Industry Demands: Understand the current and future skills required for Applied Geology graduates to succeed in the evolving job market.
Refine and Enhance the Curriculum: Use your feedback to design new courses or modify existing ones, ensuring the program meets industry trends and best practices.
Strengthen Graduate Attributes: Gather insights on the Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs), Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and desired graduate attributes so we can better prepare students for professional excellence.
Deploy Strategic Improvements: Develop a focused, data-driven approach to curriculum changes, thereby minimizing bias through a sufficiently large sample size (target >90 respondents) and engaging stakeholders in survey design.

By contributing to this survey, you are helping shape a program that addresses the current and future needs of both students and employers in the field of Applied Geology. The current Applied Geology program curriculum is given below (credit hours in parenthesis). The program is a 4-year Program. The students need to complete a total of 134 credit hours to graduate.
