Student Affairs   ( http://kgum.tripod.com )

Students in the UM Geology Department could join a student club known as "Kelab Geologi Universiti Malaya" or KGUM.  The club continues the tradition set by of a former student club known as the "Scrivenor Club".  Students from all levels of geological programmes form the main committee that arranges social and academic activities involving members and staffs.  One or two academic staffs serve as advisors to the club.  The club also helps students in their own personal growth.  Involvement in this thematic club aids in producing quality geological graduates.  Club members are encouraged to assist new students during registration periods and throughout their years at the department.
